Papadams, pickles, onions are complimentary servings. When I asked them overphone why was this not delivered despite of mentioning it on order, they said you got to order them separately. Something Indian restaurants would not do. 2. Prices for vegetarians dishes are high, seemed to me it’s a bit pricey

Not a place to choose for home delivery! We really had a good time eating your spoilt rice! All of us slept empty stomach. Again thanks to you. All we wanted was basic food but we understood that it is a big ask from you’ll. May be you should learn about quality first and then serve your customers. You are never getting back an order from us. Cheers to you customer service. Reply: I am born and brought up in India. You will tell me what I should eat? If you can't take feedback so be it but keep your suggestions to yourself! The food was spoilt and it is genuine feedback. Work on it to deliver value to customers not just react!

We ordered here for a birthday party. Everything was very good, warm and arrived on time as ordered. Transferred into bowls, it was served on the hot plates like in the restaurant and we could enjoy a stress-free evening without cooking. Thank you Maharaja team!

As an Indian restaurant i didn’t feel authentic flavor from this restaurant. However the flavor was cooked quite milder than authentic flavor for the Europeans so it is easy to try all the different dishes. Sitting outside was possible, which was good for the Corona situation but because of that you cannot get drafted beer. Service was okay.

I've been ordering from the Maharaja for home service for a few years now and I've always been very satisfied (except for the biryani). I recently went to the restaurant and haven't regretted it. Delicious!

Was really surprised how tasty the dishes were. The naan bread is really fresh and soft. Service friendly and very fast.

I've known the restaurant for more than 15 years and have never been disappointed. Friendliness and service come first. The food tastes fantastic! Sometimes one of the best Indian restaurants in Munich, if not the best.

I ate pretty well here. However, it is not clear to me why there is so little traffic. There is even Indian Kingfischer beer here. 3 stars for 2.8.

Our parent for Mädelstreff Fridays. Table 13. We are very pleased with Maharaja. Excellent service. The food tastes exceptionally delicious. There are many vegetarian dishes. Today I had the chickpeas. Very yummy and spicy hot. The ambience is subtly Indian. The Indian music is rather quiet in the background. You sit well on the benches or chairs. The waiters are very attentive and super friendly. We will be back

I, as a very food critical person, must really confess that I have been positively surprised at this restaurant Indian food has really tasted of traditional recipes. Really good! Even in hectic situations (the restaurant was full), the staff of the Maharaja Restaurant have kept the overview. Great service - great food - great atmosphere again and again, when I'm in Munich. Highly recommended.

Went there for lunch around 1pm and place was literally empty. Ordered spinach with cheese and Naan. Rice was poorly cooked with no salt and too dry. Tasted like leftovers from the night before. Spinach was also quite bad, probably frozen stuff and I had had way better Naans before. Service was okay, even though I wasn’t even asked if I want salat or soup that comes with the lunch menu. Just brought me a tiny watery soup. Thanks, but there are way better Indian options close by. Really happy I didn’t order any meat here....

I went to this diner with a couple of friends about a month ago. The staff is extremely nonprofessional and impolite. They left us unattended for a long time. YOU WILL HAVE TO FIND YOUR FOOD IN THE PLATE. That's how much they'll give you. All i enjoyed was the naked statue playing a guitar :D Now it seems that the reviews are fake. Totally Sucks! Zero food/price value! WORST PLACE EVER! NOT RECOMMENDED!

Worst place. The staff makes you feel unwelcome. The food is not indian nor pakistani. And the quanitity is very less. Totally not recommended. I wish there was a zero star option.

Really disappointed. I visited this place for Dinner. The behaviour of staff was impolite and i even found mosquito in my food. We went there little late and at that time there were no other customers, staff was preparing to close and we were there unattended for long period. Last thing, Food quantity was not enough as well...Will never recommend anyone to go there..

I visited this place for lunch. Lunchtime specials are on offer and the place does not really fill up during the week at lunchtime. Decent vegetarian options available and spicy curries if you like it scharf! Worth a visit if you are looking for a standard curry house with decent prices food.

Curry House of rare quality outside UK Had Lamb Jalfreezie (came with plain but excellent Basmati rice) and Peshwari Nan. Medium Hot turned out to be generously spicy (but not full attack on pain receptors), with fresh Coriander leaves, crunchy fresh onions and a deliciously balanced tomato curry base. Complimentary Pappadum with superb mince sauce. Bavarian beer on tap. 😋

Good restaurant with nice service. Super Mango Lassi with delicious bread. A lot of sugar was used for food 93 for our standards, it was very sweet

Super good butter chicken. Butter naan was literally dripping in butter but still crispy and delicious. The menu has good variety with a number of both vegetarian and meat choices.

I had Palak Paneer with Roti. The taste was very good. There were welcoming Papad for us before main course. Hotel Staff is polite and I'm happy with the service as well. After dinner they gives mango shots😋 Must visit.
